In the Magdalene Chapel, Basilica of St. Francis, Assisi

St. Mary Magdalene looks out from the same cave we see in one of the other panels in the frescoes of this chapel. Actually, Zosimus has been brought into the Magdalene cycle from a legend concerning St. Mary of Egypt. This confusion was not uncommon in the Middle Ages.
